UPDATE:
With the Administrator change we (the CMRA) have a lot going on and I do not have a current "Blocked" list for racers who took the school last year and still need to Corner Work, .....so

I am going to give Prov Novs another few days to sign up for TWS (until Sunday 2/13) then I am going to fill the spots I have left open with paid workers who are waiting in line right now.

Once the spots are full, that will be it for TWS and if you needed to work from last year, you will not be allowed to race until you complete corner working.

Sorry, but I have a lot of racers who are yet to finish their license and we need this back log cleared.

Let me know if any questions.

Barry

The 2010 Season is finally here and for the first time I can remember we are not at OHR! Well, TWS, here we come!

I am going to need about 24 Corner workers for each day at TWS. The first on the list should be those from the 2009 season still trying to complete the PN Requirements. You guys know who you are! In case you don't, I will post a list shortly.

Thread Rules:
I will answer your post within your post right here in this thread.

Please do not post more than once to request corner working. If you see the post, I see the post.

I will respond as soon as I can.

If you have questions....we have a forum for that! Just look in the Q&A in this area because someone has probably asked it before.

I try and keep all CW business in here, so emailing me probably will not be any quicker.

Just because I confirm you in this thread DOES NOT mean you get a corner. You have a reservation which will likely be given to someone else if you do not show up at the track ON TIME. Track check in is at 6:30am Sharp.

You get assigned your corner when you show up so please to not request a corner ahead of time.

Lastly, THANK YOU for Corner Working. You guys are the only reason the racers get to race and why we depend so heavily on you commitment!

My brother Kelly and I are taking the CMRA race class Friday 2/19 and would like to corner work for the races Saturday and Sunday to get them out of the way. We will be prepared to pay our CMRA full membership before corner working. We hope that you can get us signed up so we can plan accordingly. Please let us know. I will be checking this post. laugh

I have scheduled you for the day(s) you requested. Please read
"Are you a NEW RACER? HAVE QUESTIONS? LOOK IN HERE!" if you have not already, it will answer most of your questions. Check-in is at 6:30. Your spot is not guaranteed until you check-in. Thank You for signing up!

Barry,

RS will have at least 10 people getting their licenses on 2.15.09. What can we tell them in regards to corner working?

I'm sure they will all be contacting you right after the event.

Dirk, sorry for the delay, I missed your post. Best thing is to have them read the "Are you a NEW RACER? HAVE QUESTIONS? LOOK IN HERE!" section and let me know if they have questions.

Barry,

Happy new years!

I understand you may fill up the corners with with prov novs. If so - GREAT! If not, I will have 4 boys and a wife (5 total) available on Saturday; add me to the mix (5+1) for Sunday. Looking forward to a fun season but already missing the Hill!

bob

I only have Sunday after PN's. Let me know.

Barry,

Sign me up to corner work on Saturday 2/20/10 and Sunday 2/21/10. I see people talking about the CMRA fee. Do I need to be a member? If so what steps do I need to take so I can save a spot? This will be my second time corner working as I will have corner worked the LSTD track day on Friday the 19th.

Thanks,
Evan

I have only Sunday open, but you are welcome to work then. Please let me know.

Hey Barry,
Melanie Cahilly and I would like to work a corner on Feb 20th if you have one available.

Thanks,
Joy

I am sorry, 02/20 is full. I have a lot of PN's trying to get their racing license. We will be back at TWS again in April and October and I will certainly be in need then. Thanks again!!

Barry,

I need to knock out my Saturday CW requirement to finish this part of my Prov Nov status. (I worked the Sunday at that last TWS Race of 2009) Can you put me down for a spot on that Saturday?? Thank you.

Also, as Dirk mentioned above, three specific people that will be starting their License that week would like to do their Saturday as well, and possibly Sunday.

Jason Mollet
Chris Cullen
Jason Cantreras

I have verified your Sunday from 2009 and am adding you for Saturday. Check-in is at 6:30. Please Remember! Your spot is not guaranteed until you check-in.
The others need to post a request to work.
thanks!!
